Mikki Nunn
Grapic Designer & Illustrator based in Spartanburg, sC
Born in the Blue Ridge of North Carolina, Mikki Nunn is a Spartanburg based illustrator & designer. Currently Nunn runs the Mini Maker programming at her Headquarters Library & is also the Founder of Wobbly Bear Design Studio, a company which focuses on creating illustrative branding, stunning web designs, as well as upcycling donated textiles.
Nunn’s work has been featured in publications including Canvas Rebel, Overachiever Magazine, and Artistonish, and exhibited in small businesses such as The Tulip Tree, and Little River Coffee Bar. Most recently, Nunn worked as a Senior Web Designer on the Live Design team at Townsquare Interactive, based in Uptown Charlotte, North Carolina. Prior to that, she was the Marketing and Design manager at Piedmont Pennies.
Nunn attended Converse University in Spartanburg, SC and graduated May of 2022 receiving a BFA in studio art, primarily concentrating in digital media. While at Converse she interned as an Artist in Residence for graphic design, taught private art lessons, worked as a full-time art teacher for the Lawson Academy of Fine Art, and held the position of on-site Ceramics Assistant for the Converse Dept. of Art & Design.
